YWCA Hamilton respects your privacy and adheres to all legislative
requirements with respect to protecting privacy. Personal information collected
by the YWCA Hamilton is used to process receipt donations, to help us better
understand our supporters, keep them informed about YWCA Hamilton program
developments and activities, and to ask for their support of our mission to
improve the lives of women and girls.
We do not sell or rent our donor lists for any reason. We do acknowledge the
support of donors/sponsors and supporters in publications such as the YWCA
Difference newsletter, YWCA Program Guide, YWCA Newsbrief our electronic
newsletter and our Annual Report. If you do not wish to receive such mailings,
or prefer not to be recognized in YWCA publications as a supporter, please let
us know by calling 905-522-9922 x127.
We protect your personal information through staff and volunteer training about
privacy issues, the signing of confidentiality agreements by those who access
personal information in order to perform their duties, the use of locked files,
a secure computer system and the shredding of discarded personal information.
