Girl's Programming

Check out some of our great Girls’ Only programs!

YWCA Hamilton offers some amazing programs for girls 9-14 years old.  These programs range from activity-based to curriculum-based as well as health and fitness-focused.

Our curriculum-based programs include workshops on Healthy Relationships, Violence against Women, Media Awareness, Bullying, Self-Esteem, Body Image, Decision-Making, Internet Safety, Physical Activity and Nutrition, Budgeting and Anti-Racism.

Physical activity programs encourage the girls to explore a variety of different activities, such as yoga, Pilates, Zumba and ultimate Frisbee, as well as some old favorites like soccer, basketball and gymnastics.

All of our programs provide opportunities for girls to develop their leadership skills and to mentor with positive female role models. YWCA Hamilton provides a safe and supportive environment for girls to share their experiences, express themselves, and enjoy the friendship of others.
