Women In Skilled Trades
The Women in Skilled Trades and Information Technology Training (WIST/IT) Program is funded by the Government of Ontario through the Ontario Women’s Directorate and delivered by YWCA Hamilton.. This program was developed specifically for women to gain the skills, knowledge and hands-on experience to pursue a career in the skilled trades. The Program provides 12 months of training: a combination of classroom, on the job training and pre-apprenticeship training.
