How You Can Help

For over 120 years, the YWCA Hamilton has been supported by Volunteers who give freely of their time and talents. Volunteers are the backbone of our many programs and services and enable us to continue to provide much needed community services. Friends for Success Staff and Volunteers assist clients in getting the right look for the right job.

Our program supports women entering or returning to the workforce by providing new and gently used business clothing. The program helps women to feel confident and look professional – a key component of job success! Women are referred to the program by local employment agencies, job training programs, newcomer centers, women’s shelters and other social services and human resources programs.
