Transitional Housing Support Program
Our Transitional and Housing Support Program offers a range of support to women and gender diverse individuals who are currently or have previously, experienced abuse in all its forms. All our services are free and interpreters and childcare can be arranged when necessary and when available. Our Transitional Housing Support Worker can also assist in connecting you with Phoenix Place, our Second Stage Transitional Housing Program.

Risk assessment and safety planning
Connection to emergency shelter if needing a safe place to stay
One-to-one counselling and group support
Transitional planning
Help with finding a new place to live
Help with getting financial support
Accompaniment, advocacy and referrals to police, court, hospital, lawyers, etc.
Help with custody and child support and childcare subsidy applications
Legal referrals and court support
Help with connection to settlement and immigration service
Workshops – throughout the year there will be various workshops on specific topics of interest
Help with victim impact statements and court preparation and support
