Transitional Living Program (TLP)
YWCA Hamilton’s Transitional Living Program provides safe, affordable, and temporary housing for single women and non-binary individuals for a duration of up to one year within the YWCA Hamilton’s MacNab Street location. The Transitional Living Program provides a supportive environment offered by knowledgeable and trauma-informed staff for those experiencing homelessness and gender-based violence.
In addition to transitional housing, this program offers residents the opportunity to access wraparound services onsite including low barrier and inclusive health care, peer support programming, activities and outings, individualized case management, one-on-one support, systems navigation and advocacy.
