Ready to RISE?

RISE Programming is open to youth aged 13-30 and starts at various intervals throughout the year. Program participants will receive volunteer hours, a certificate of completion and giftcard incentives.

  • Analyzing societal influences
  • Finding your strengths and identity
  • Recognizing your purpose
  • Building connections and support systems
  • Enhancing your community
  • Leadership skills
  • Youth-led activities and initiatives

Meet Rylee

Rylee Wiersma

Meet Rylee, Youth Programs Coordinator

Rylee is the lead for Youth Programs and engagement here at the YWCA Hamilton. She is trained in ASIST Suicide Prevention, has worked with children and youth for a number of years and holds a Bachelors of Social Work. She is passionate about fostering supportive and meaningful relationships for youth in the community while also encouraging engagement and growth.
