The session is designed for newcomers who identify as women, gender-diverse, and non-binary to explain the benefits of attending Canadian schools.
The session will discuss the following topics:
• Access to high-quality education
• Diverse learning opportunities
• Chance to make new friends and fully immerse in Canadian culture
• Every child between 6-16 has the right to attend school in Canada
• Truancy (unexcused absence) is not tolerated and may result in legal consequences for both child and parent(s)
• Take advantage of all that Canadian schools have to offer and make the most of your time in Canada
