This workshop is being offered by the Canadian Courage project, in partnership with Jack.org
The ‘Be There’ workshop walks the participants through the ‘5 golden rules’ when discussing mental health with a peer. It is followed by providing tools to support people in your life by discussing mental health concepts and finding supportive opportunities. The problem-based scenarios focus on expanding mental health knowledge and developing a sense of connectedness. Some highlights include engaging activities like journaling, interactive discussions, and real-life examples. To find out more about the workshop specifics please visit: https://www.thecanadiancourageproject.org/youth-programming
This workshop is open to all women or gender-diverse youth between the ages of 13 to 30. And will take place in person at the Putman Family YWCA. If you are interested in taking part you can register for the event by clicking here.
