| Learn about Children’s Aid Society information session: This session is designed for newcomer parents who identify as women, 2SLGBTQIA+, and non-binary to enhance their knowledge of the Children’s Aid Society’s services as well as their rights and responsibilities when potential abuse and neglect are reported. The session will discuss the following topics: – What is the Children’s Aid Society? – When a child needs protection services – Types and Signs of Abuse -What happens when the Children’s Aid Society receives a report? – How to interact with child protection workers during an investigation visit – How to file a complaint about children’s aid society services |
