The Newcomer Employment Readiness Program is an 11-week, hands-on program designed specifically for newcomer women and gender-diverse individuals who are ready to gain Canadian job skills, earn certifications, and build confidence in the workplace.
Point of Sale Digital Cashier (Certificate):
Participants gain hands-on experience with the latest point-of-sale technologies and learn essential skills for efficient and accurate transactions.
Adapting to Canadian Workplace Culture for Newcomers:
Newcomers and the Canadian Work Culture workshop helps participants understand key aspects of Canadian workplace norms, including communication styles, teamwork, and expectations for professional behavior.
Problem Solving:
Problem-solving involves identifying, analyzing, and resolving challenges or issues that arise in various situations. It’s a critical skill in both personal and professional contexts, as it enables individuals and teams to overcome obstacles and achieve their goals effectively.
