Imagine Day Program Volunteer

JOIN New Mothers’ Support Volunteer

TYPE: Hybrid, both virtual and in-person opportunities exist
TIME COMMITMENT: Between 1 to 4 visits Monthly; each visit is 2 to 3 hours
TERMS OF POSITION: Six (6) month commitment

YWCA Hamilton Mother’s Support Services is looking for individuals to Canada to apply to provide volunteer assistance for newcomer mothers in the Hamilton and the surrounding area. The Mother’s Support Group volunteer will provide support to new mothers with infants younger than twelve months of age.

Donation Processing Volunteer

TYPE: In-person
TIME COMMITMENT: 1-2 shifts/week; Monday through Friday between 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, flexible work schedule
TERMS OF POSITION: Six (6) month commitment

The YWCA Hamilton Donation Processing Volunteer will help staff with welcoming and assisting donors, receiving and tagging incoming donations, sorting donations into designated areas/bins, keeping an accurate in-kind donation log up-to-date, and replenish as needed.
