Dear YWCA Hamilton supporters,
I’m so pleased to send you our 2023-24 Impact Report! In our last fiscal year, we made meaningful, tangible change in our community, uplifting and empowering women, girls, gender-diverse folks, and families in so many different ways. I know that change wouldn’t be possible without all of you behind us and beside us every step of the way. Thank you for being part of YWCA Hamilton’s life-changing and life-saving work.
As you read through the attached Impact Report, you’ll see that there is much to be proud of and to celebrate! We opened our permanent space for Carole-Anne’s Place, we advanced our programming around reproductive care and justice, and we expanded our employment and entrepreneurship offerings, among many other achievements last year.
People are at the heart of everything we do. Our committed staff and Board of Directors, our volunteers, our donors and funders, our community partners, and of course, our diverse clients across our multi-service organization, are making change happen every day. I am grateful for all the people that power our mission, and deeply moved by the stories of change in these Impact Report pages, as I hope you will be too. Most importantly, I am motivated to continue working towards a safer, stronger, more equitable community together.
With 135 years of impact and over 500 staff members, we served 10,000+ people this year. Over services were delivered through 38 locations with our staff training for over 5,424 hours and 174 volunteers powered over mission!
